Artists in Residence

DIVA welcomes creators who want to push the boundaries in goldsmithing, jewellery design or related disciplines. While on a residency, artists are given the space to experiment, create and enter into dialogue with the collections, the museum and the public.

About Artists in Residence

A residency at DIVA is a unique opportunity for creators to develop and reflect on their work. You will get to know the rich and diverse collection and delve into the museum’s specialist library.

As a participant in the annual Artists in Residence (AiR) programme, you can count on time for research and space for experimentation. Interaction with experts is a valuable part of the residency. You can engage with the public during a DIVA talk and conclude with a presentation at the museum.

Sign up for the DIVA newsletter and receive the annual Open Call for the Artists in Residence in your inbox.

Open Call Closed – Artists in Residence 2026

Since 2021, DIVA has invited creators, artists and designers every year to create new work in the context of an artist-in-residence programme. For 2026, the museum is offering three residents the opportunity to work for three months in a well-equipped studio, use the museum collection, and take part in an exhibition.
